About OCRR

OCRR (pronounced "Oh See Arrr") is a modern OCR application built exclusively for macOS. Open a PDF or an image, or scan straight from your iPhone or iPad; OCRR recognizes the text, shows you exactly what it found, and writes a searchable document you can actually use.

Recognition, AI Cleanup, summaries and key details all run on your Mac, using Apple's own frameworks. OCRR has no network access of its own — the macOS sandbox enforces it — so your documents are never uploaded anywhere.
